Life Photography
How must have the world looked like today had Photography not been invented? How could we have preserved the memory of our ancestors without the photographic portraits on walls of ancestral homes? How should we be able to remember the face of a fiancée or fiancé living in a far-away land? What could have been used as tools in lieu of photographs to help solve crimes? What could have been used as instructional media now represented by photographs? These and many more questions you and I ask because we have known and grown in a world that has the wonderful magic of photography amidst us. There would have been no such questions if the world never had photography in its bosom. The world would have looked differently without that window you view it through from behind a camera.
Putting Photography in such context makes us learn to appreciate its presence in our lives. We would have learned to respect and value photographs which we now normally throw carelessly around. We would have really learned to use the camera and take good care of it as if it was some treasure or precious jewellery we wrap in soft velvet and store in safes where we place valuables. We would not have taken the camera and photographs for granted. We would have thanked God for the inventors and innovators He blessed us with for giving us the gift of Photography.
Let us list down the reasons why we should be thankful for that gift.
· Preservation of the memories of our ancestors and the "moments of our lives" in photos
· Photographic representation of history that enhances the emotion and vividness of events more that words can do
· The clues that photographs offer as they are clear and "drawn-to-scale" pictures of evidence that lead to solution of crimes
· Effective as instructional media as they clearly portray images that need to be scrutinised and studied by pupils even to the smallest details such as facial expression, minute arrangement of blood vessel network or the cross-section of a body organ
· Photography offers soul-soothing pictures of nature in wild animals and breath-taking landscapes
· As videography forms part of the Photography industry, its benefits and contributions enhance our appreciation of things and events in our lives
o Makes us relive the melancholy and nostalgia in sad and forgotten events
o Brings back the laughter we experienced in funny events during birthday parties, stag parties or shower parties, etc.
o Documentary filming of demonstrations, skirmishes or wars
o Video clips of important celebrations, etc.
There are hundreds more reasons why we should revel in the gift of Photography. And we are only talking of Photography. There is more out there in the real world that we should be thankful for.
Go out and greet the world! Celebrate life!

Two Companies That Specialize in Security Boxes and Wall Safes
Regardless of what you need to keep secure, you can find a safe that will work for you. Safes come in a whole range of sizes, from small chests, to knee high floor safes, to narrow wall safes, to large gun safes, to security doors to secure an entire room. Only you know what you want to keep secure in order to make the best decision for you and your family. With such a wide range of safes available there are a lot of safe manufacturer's, some who make all types of safes, and other's who specialize in niche markets. There are two companies that I came across lately that specialize in safes that protect smaller valuables, things such as small firearms, jewelry, money, medicines, coin or stamp collections, etc. Let's take a look at these two companies and what they have to offer.
V-Line has been around since the mid-1990's, and is located in Simi Valley, California. They saw a need in the home and commercial security market for small but secure, high quality safes, security cases and cabinets that were easy to access. They started with small personal sized cases and have expanded today to built in wall safes and other security cabinets. Their business goal is to provide "Quality products, extraordinary customer service, and exceptional sales and technical support."
For quick access, almost all of their security products include a 5 button mechanical lock. As the consumer, you are encouraged to reset the combination when you receive your new safe. With 5 buttons, there are 1081 possible different combinations. Your combination can use anywhere from one to all five button, but each button can only be used once.
Some of their products include security cases, small safes that are designed to mount underneath a desk surface, long gun cases, and wall safes. They offer two different sizes of wall safes, a small safe that can easily be concealed by a picture or mirror, and a larger safe that is tall, but still narrow enough to fit between wall studs. This safe is called the closet vault and is best hidden in a closet or behind a door.
Lockstate is another company that specializes in smaller security products. Their two main lines include small safes, and special digital door locks. Their different safes include cash and jewelry safes, closet and wall safes and special laptop safes. Depending upon the model of the safe, there are a couple of different lock options, from electronic to combination to biometric. Most all types come with two emergency override keys. Their safes and other security products are perfect for home use and use in the hotel and hospitality industry (i.e. - property management or vacation rentals). The wall safes are especially nice in the hospitality industry because the safes are concealed, making a quick in and out robbery more difficult.
Everybody has something that needs protection from theft or fire, whether it be cash or jewelry, collectibles, important documents or a handgun. And there are a lot of options available on the market today. Perhaps a security chest would work best for you, or maybe one of the wall safes suits your lifestyle better, but don't get caught in situation where you are looking back in regret wishing you had purchased one sooner. This is one investment that is worth it's weight in gold!
