Entry from: Tokyo, Japan Entry Title: "Tokyo - Japan" Entry: "If my typing looks bad its becasuse Im on a japanese keyboard and have to guess where the english letters are. First day here wasnt so good, took 24 hours travelling as people keep commiting suicide jumping on train lines *5 hrs from airport to hotel ( so Im really jetlagged and near passing out ( but Ive had a sleep now and managed to get an apartment on the outskirts at a decent price then back to my original hotel from monday. Tokyo is fab. Its a huge mix of high rises and ancient buildings and temples and sprawling as far as the eye can see to the horizon in every direction. I went to the top of the tokyo tower today for a birds eye view and a few snaps Ill upload once I find a good pc. The toilets are funny, they are fully digital *no flushes just buttons on the wall( and they even wash ur bum if u want and talk to you in nintendo language. Im starting to find my way round but communication is totally impossible. The trains are impaculate and the people so respectful and nice. No one pushes and the kids are so well behaved etc. Apparently there is practically zero crime too. You leave ur hotel key on the desk and anyone could pick up any key but they dont its so safe. Rooms are tiny though, they are small people and seem to live ...
